Memorial Day Weekend at The National World War I Museum

Wonderful events scheduled thus weekend near the Liberty Memorial.


The National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial is a special place to visit here in Kansas City. It is the nation’s official World War I Museum and “inspires thought, dialogue, and learning to make the experiences of the World War I era meaningful and relevant for present and future generations.” As we remember those who died serving our country, take part in these special events ahead this Memorial Day weekend in Kansas City:

Saturday May 24- Sunday May 25, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Military Vehicle Preservation Association will showcase more than 30 vehicles from World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm.
